The album “Bonfire” simmers with music from multiple geographical origins as well as jazz and classical impulses. Groovy and virtuoso - longing and lyrical. The sound is upfront and acoustic - close to the physical energy of the music. Oriental strings, pumping accordion, and pulsating rhythms. All four musicians are well known on the international world music scene, and collaborate across continents.
