Bafana
Bafana is releasing his first solo project as an artist. The album is produced by the eminent jazz artist Bugge Wesseltoft from Norway, and is released on Jazzland Records. Bafana is fusing traditional South African rhythms with contemporary and jazzy brass sounds His reputation for extraordinary vocal and musical skills has earned him opportunities to share both stage and studio with well renowned artists such as the late Busi Mhlongo, Baaba Maal, Salif Keita, Madala Kunene, Mutabaruka, Pops Mohamed.
Bafana Nhlapo is one of the emerging talents on the African music scene. He presents a modern expression of music that is funky, vibrant and above all spiritual.
